Portfolio Pulse
Turns news on a VC fund's portfolio into signals and cited drafts. Nothing sends itself.

About this app
Portfolio Pulse helps venture associates and platform teams see what happened across a fund's portfolio and draft the follow-up, without reading every article.
Pick a fund. The app loads its companies and the last 90 days of news for each one from akta.pro, a company data API. Each article becomes a signal under fixed rules that anyone can read in the app ("How signals work"): Funding, People, Product, Corporate or Risk, with a severity of 1 to 3 and a suggested move. The category and severity come from akta's own event tags, not from a model. Companies are ranked by a pulse score that counts recent, higher-severity signals more, and "Needs your attention" lists the serious ones from the last 30 days, so the top of the page is where to look first.
The data is cleaned in the open: articles that don't name the company or aren't in English are filtered out and counted, and companies akta lists as public are marked as exits, so their stock moves don't crowd out real portfolio events. Open a company to see its akta profile, headcount trend, website traffic and funding history.
Click a signal to draft a partner note or a short email to a founder. Claude Opus 5.5 writes the draft through the Nicrron API from numbered sources only, and every factual sentence cites its source as [n]; click an [n] and the article opens. The backend removes any sentence without a valid citation and says how many it removed. "Generate LP update" does the same for the whole fund and writes an update with a numbered source list, ready to download as Markdown or Word.
Nothing sends itself. Every output is a draft for a person to read, edit and send. The app uses only public data and each fund's public portfolio page. The demo covers Everywhere Ventures, Plug and Play and Betaworks; those are the companies we loaded, not the funds' full portfolios.
